Mute audio in Storyline 360

1 So let's see how we do a mute and unmute audio in Storyline.

The first thing is, that we create a layer that says audio and we insert the audio. That's all we need in this layer.

2. Then, we create a variable, in this case, I called it "Timeline" to make it easy "a number" variable with a default zero.

3. Then, the button.
and we have "normal" and "selected" states.

4. Now, a trigger that adjusts the variable "Timeline" as the timeline moves.

then..

We create in the button, the first trigger is to show the audio layer and the second trigger after you show the audio it will jump to time 1 if the variable value is 1 and 2 3 4 and so on, so you have to see how long is your audio, in this case, is 25 and a half about.

so I create triggers all the way to 30 any way, they will stop here and at the end, you create another one to hide a layer when they click this.

But it has to be in this order specifically, this trigger at the end.

There you go and that's it, that's all you need.

Oh and another thing I forget,

make sure you have all layers set to "reset to initial state."

thank you
